As you may already know by now I’m a huge fan of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. While I’m mixed on a lot of his recent titles and even admit to having a fairly different taste on some of the Sonic games I think we can all agree that his glory days were those on the good old SEGA Megadrive. So I’m going to look at all of the Sonic titles to grace the Megadrive and rank them from Worst to Best.

Jurassic World was possibly my most anticipated movie of the year, so when it got released in the UK you didn’t have to tell me twice about seeing it. By now you’ve probably seen the reviews I’ve done for the previous movies in preparation for this one. Now I’ve seen Jurassic World how was it and how does it measure to the other entries?

Crash 2 Title Card

Crash Bandicoot was one of the Playstation’s biggest hits so naturally a sequel had to be made. Crash Bandicoot 2 was released in 1997, one year after the first game. Now when I looked at the first game, I stated that it was still good but it wasn’t the best way to get into the Crash Bandicoot franchise. Does this game make the necessary improvements that the first game needed?

Whilst The Lost World: Jurassic Park was another financial hit, critically it was met with a much more mixed reception. Four years later another sequel was made, this time just titled Jurassic Park III. This one was different as it was the first one not to be based off a Michael Crichton book and the first one not directed by Steven Spielberg, instead Joe Johnston takes the helm. The ultimate question though, is this movie any good?

The original Jurassic Park would go on to become one of the highest grossing movies of all time. Following the movie’s success the author Michael Crichton then wrote a follow-up book called The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Then in 1997 a film adaptation was made. How does this one hold up when compared to the original?

Next month Jurassic World hits cinemas in the UK and I can’t wait to see it. So in preparation I’m taking a look back at the Jurassic Park trilogy and will review all three movies, starting with the first. This movie was a very big deal when it first came out, but how does it hold up today? Well let’s find out.

When my friend Mike informed me about going to Slam Dunk Festival I then found out that it was in Wolverhampton. Needless to say I got myself a ticket and so did he. The lineup for me looked good with a few familiar faces and other bands who I haven’t heard much of but heard good things about. So how was the event overall and what did I get up to?

Pac-Man Ghostly Adventures Title Card

Pac-Man is one of the most iconic video game characters of all time. He’s even older than Mario and Donkey Kong. When it comes to my experience with his games, I have not played any of his games except for the arcade classic. I have seen his recent television show and I think it’s ok. It’s nothing terrible but it’s nothing special either. I don’t think some episodes are suited for the 21 minute run time and it does use some outdated 90s catchphrases. The game I’ll be looking at today is based off this television show. So just like Sonic Boom, I’m looking at a video game based on a television show based on a video game. Is this game on the same quality as Sonic Boom or will it be a diamond in the rough?

Greetings mortals, I am DracoJames102 and I am here to give you a review. Sonic Boom Title Card lighting

I never thought that this game would be the first Wii U title I would review, but I wanted to review this game at some point or another so let’s get on with it. This game is considered a prequel to the new Sonic Boom television show that aired in October 2014. The game was developed by Western Developers Big Red Button (which consist of a few former employees from Naughty Dog who made Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter and the Last of Us). Now Webmaster Tom actually borrowed the game from me for a while and played it, so I figured since we are both long time Sonic fans he could voice his opinions of the game along with me. But before we get into the game itself, let’s talk about what we thought of the game before it came out and what sparked our curiosity to play it.
