Next month Jurassic World hits cinemas in the UK and I can’t wait to see it. So in preparation I’m taking a look back at the Jurassic Park trilogy and will review all three movies, starting with the first. This movie was a very big deal when it first came out, but how does it hold up today? Well let’s find out.

When my friend Mike informed me about going to Slam Dunk Festival I then found out that it was in Wolverhampton. Needless to say I got myself a ticket and so did he. The lineup for me looked good with a few familiar faces and other bands who I haven’t heard much of but heard good things about. So how was the event overall and what did I get up to?

Pac-Man Ghostly Adventures Title Card

Pac-Man is one of the most iconic video game characters of all time. He’s even older than Mario and Donkey Kong. When it comes to my experience with his games, I have not played any of his games except for the arcade classic. I have seen his recent television show and I think it’s ok. It’s nothing terrible but it’s nothing special either. I don’t think some episodes are suited for the 21 minute run time and it does use some outdated 90s catchphrases. The game I’ll be looking at today is based off this television show. So just like Sonic Boom, I’m looking at a video game based on a television show based on a video game. Is this game on the same quality as Sonic Boom or will it be a diamond in the rough?

Greetings mortals, I am DracoJames102 and I am here to give you a review. Sonic Boom Title Card lighting

I never thought that this game would be the first Wii U title I would review, but I wanted to review this game at some point or another so let’s get on with it. This game is considered a prequel to the new Sonic Boom television show that aired in October 2014. The game was developed by Western Developers Big Red Button (which consist of a few former employees from Naughty Dog who made Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter and the Last of Us). Now Webmaster Tom actually borrowed the game from me for a while and played it, so I figured since we are both long time Sonic fans he could voice his opinions of the game along with me. But before we get into the game itself, let’s talk about what we thought of the game before it came out and what sparked our curiosity to play it.

Bart's Nightmare Title Card

Ever since I met Doug Walker (a.k.a Nostalgia Critic) at Alcon 2013, I wanted to review something in his honour and what better way to do that than look at something that he’s looked at. Like Doug Walker, I am a really big Simpsons fan. I already own Seasons 2-8 on DVD and it is one of my all-time favourite shows with its great comedy writing and witty social commentary. I’ve never played any games based on the Simpsons though until this review. Now even though Doug has technically thrashed the game, I’m going to look into it with a little more detail. Is this game really as bad as Doug made it out to be?
